Adenium obesum belongs to the family Apocynaceae found in Thailand and other countries. A group of chemical compounds such as flavonoids, terpenoids have been found. The extract of A. obesum showed cytotoxic activity, in vitro antiviral activity, and antimicrobial activity. Some scientific reports suggest that plant extract might be used for medicinal plants, therapy, and prevention of some diseases.
